AI Visibility

AI systems already describe your organization. The question is what they say—and which sources they rely on.

Customers, applicants, journalists, and investors increasingly ask AI before they visit a website. The answers shape first impressions—usually without the organization knowing what those answers are.

AI visibility cannot be judged from a single prompt. Answers differ between systems, between phrasings, and over time. Reliable statements require systematic, repeated measurement.

My Perspective

Measure, don’t sample
Individual screenshots are anecdotes. I work with a structured measurement approach across the major AI systems that captures variance, sources, and competitive position over time.

Sources matter more than keywords
AI systems rely on what they consider credible. Knowing which sources shape an answer says more than any ranking.

Visibility is a knowledge problem
What AI systems say about an organization depends on how clearly and consistently its knowledge is available. Improving it is content and structure work—not a trick.

Investor Relations

For listed companies, this has a specific dimension. Analysts and investors use AI assistants for screening and preparation. Whether the equity story, key figures, and strategic positioning come across correctly—or whether outdated or third-party narratives dominate—is becoming an IR topic.

I am doing this work for a Nasdaq-listed mid-cap company: measuring how it appears across AI systems compared with its peers, identifying which sources drive the answers, and deriving concrete content priorities.

How It Starts

A first step is a visibility snapshot: how your organization, your topics, and your competitors currently appear in AI systems, which sources shape the answers, and where the relevant gaps are. From there, the work continues with content priorities and, where useful, ongoing monitoring.

Situations

Organizations typically involve me when:

• they want to know how AI systems describe them—and their competitors
• search traffic declines while AI usage grows
• IR teams want to understand how the equity story comes across in AI answers
• content strategy needs a basis beyond classic SEO
• management asks what the organization should actually do about AI visibility

Good work starts with a good conversation.
